Uniforms

Depending on the occasion scouts in Troop 324 may wear either the class "A" (Presentation) uniform or the class "B" (Activity) uniform. The uniform for meetings, ceremonies, boards of review and public events is called the class "A" uniform. The khaki shirt, olive scout pants, neckerchief with slide, belt, and optional merit badge sash comprise the class "A" uniform. The placement of patches on the shirt is specific. Patches are earned and must be kept current. The class "B" uniform is for less formal events including but not limited to service projects, activities, traveling, camping trips and some fundraisers. A scout related T-shirt and matching baseball cap comprise the class "B" uniform.

Class A Uniform

The uniform shirt and pants are purchased at the BSA Scout Shop in Heidelberg or online.

Uniforms will need the following patches or badges.

		Khaki Shirt
		Scout Pants or shorts, recommended are the BSA Switchback pants"
top of left sleeve	old council patches are also ok to be worn, for instance the one below:	Council patch
below council patch on left sleeve		324 Unit patch can be purchased at troop meetings.
epilets on shoulders		Shoulder loops can be purchased at troop meetings.
worn around the neck under shirt collar		Neckerchief and slide can be purchased at troop meetings.
centered 2 inches above left pocket		Scout World Crest Emblem, can be purchased at troop meetings.
centered on left pocket		Rank insignias, earned by the scout and awarded at a Court of Honor.
directly below left pocket		Arrow of Light badge, awarded at the Arrow of Light ceremony.
